Funneling students through a single choke point not only reduces the number of doors opening at the perimeter but also enables automatic scanning for dangerous items unobtrusively using millimeter-wave technology. These highly accurate detectors are placed on either side of entrance vestibules or inside the entrance doors to allow free passage of students and faculty. The free-flowing nature allows for unobstructed entry so as not to introduce any bottlenecks.

The high-tech scanners are customizable with banners for displaying logos, school mascots, or even sponsor advertisements. The aesthetically pleasing stanchions not only looks great while providing a seamless entrance to the building but offers intelligence into hidden and potentially lethal items being brought to school.

Millimeter wave detection is a safe and effective technology used to privately and securely scan for particular items. As students and visitors filter in, nearby, security personel remotely monitor and are silently informed of detected ‘items of concern’, to address in a discreet manner.
